S.A.F.E. Hub
The SAFE Hub is new community hub for adults with developmental disabilities in the Hamilton area.
We aim to provide programs, resources, social events, and clinical supports around:
- Sexuality and sexual health
- Abuse awareness
- Family planning and supports
- Education
Too often, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are left out of conversations around healthy relationships, sexual health, and decision-making.
Everyone has the right to full citizenship in their communities. Through our S.A.F.E. Hub, we will be offering:
- social groups
- one-to-one education
- group education
- community and clinical referrals
- caregiver/staff training
- resources, safe sex items, testing kits
- and more!
