D.A.R.E.(Determined Adults Reading and Education)

The DARE program was established in the 2007 with the goal of providing and enhancing literacy skills for adults with developmental disabilities, including the development of necessary skills to eventually attain employment and independence in the community.

D.A.R.E. provides individualized lessons for the students in a one-on-one environment.  Skills acquired through lessons range from reading and math to computers and spelling, depending on the goals of the student.

The Juchniewicz DARE Learning Centre is equipped with a library and computer lab where group classes are taught for those looking to develop their computer skills.

The DARE program strives to enrich its students with literacy skills that they will be able to use in the community at-large.
