The 2024 Lawscar Awards

Every year we gather to celebrate the achievements and contributions of our team members. This yeart was a special night with the theme being “fun” formal attire! A big thanks to every one of our staff members, our planning team and our hosts! Can’t wait for next year!

The Lawscars were created in 2021 as a way to thank our staff for all of their hard work during Covid,  Initially held as a virtual event it has grown into the regal event you see here!  Thank you to everyone who came out to the Lawscars  and congratulations to all the winners! We have such a great team here at Lawson Ministries and it’s so rewarding to celebrate together.    Thank you to all our staff for their hard work 365 days a year!

Brothers for Life!

Reg and Pat were born in Kingston, Ontario.  Although their upbringing was not ideal and both brothers moved around a lot, they managed to stay in contact with each other and remain a huge part in each others lives.

Reg moved to Hamilton and has been with the Salvation Army Lawson Ministries Community SIL Program since 1990.  His brother Pat still lives out in Ottawa where he has his own support and friends.
