STRIVE Employment Services provides tailored employment services to adults with developmental disabilities who are eligible for the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) Employment Supports program. STRIVE has developed a unique service to assist determined individuals in preparation, location and maintaining employment.

Job Seeker Services
Assessment and Case Management: As employers approach us with job openings, our case managers select a qualified candidate for each position available from our client base. An action plan is developed involving all parties to determine services required and employment goals. Our case managers stay in contact with you on an ongoing basis to ensure that both your needs and those of the employee are being met.
Job Finding: the success of the work exploration is dependent on the motivation of the individual. We provide resume writing, interview skills, Job Finding Club with other job seekers and pre-employment readiness skills training.
Job Coaching: job coach is provided at the start of the work placement to assist the new employee to perform their job effectively and independently, and determine what further supports will be necessary in the long term. Job coaching is a key service that we offer, and by performing this dual role, assists a new employee to fulfill their job responsibilities in a competitive environment. Throughout the course of the placement we will closely monitor the client’s progress and ensure that your needs are being met on an ongoing basis.
