Community Access to Transportation

Community Access to Transportation (CAT) teaches bus routes on the Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) through its City-funded program for adults and youth age 16 and over who have developmental disabilities. If you, or someone you know, can benefit from this program, contact Angela Haufler,  CAT is also excited to be developing a travel training program to teach routes on GO Transit. It is jointly funded by Christian Horizons Central District (Toronto, York and Simcoe) (CH) and our parent agency The Salvation Army Lawson Ministries Hamilton (SALMH)—two non-profit agencies who provide support to adults with developmental disabilities. Both agencies will offer this training as part of their family of services. For more information about this program in the Hamilton area, email . For information about this program email Angela Haufler .  In the Toronto area, email Nicole Michell.
